Split Apex comprises of former Mozzie and Komare member Peter Blundell alongside the theorist Jussi Palmusaari. In much the same way as Blundells previous band, this new group comprises of sparse arrangements of bass guitar (either hypnotically repetitive or ominously open ended in its phrasing), minimal percussion, and a series of drily delivered vocals.
